Remuneration policy
The Dutch CAA Foundation strives to spend your gift as much as possible on research. Of course, costs are incurred. In 2013, there was no paid staff employed by the Foundation. However, third parties were hired for creating the website and to provide fundraising advice. The aim of the foundation is to obtain the CBF certification.

An important criterion for this certification is that a maximum of 25% of the income from own fundraising is spent on costs for own fundraising. The members of the Board of Trustees and of the Board do not receive fixed compensation for their work. An expense report, if made in carrying out functions, can only be eligible for reimbursement if first discussed with the chairman of the board. This was not used in 2013.
